Accessibility statement

This statement covers www.ceyu.org. It describes what has actually been measured rather than what we would like to be true.

1. Standard applied

We target WCAG 2.2 level AA. The Ceyu product interface targets the same level; this statement is about the website.

2. Current status

Partially conformant. The site conforms in most respects, with the known exceptions listed in section 4.

2.1 What has been measured

  • Contrast: every text colour combination in the design system was measured against its actual background. The lowest measured value is 4.54:1, above the 4.5:1 threshold for body text. Body text is 19.2:1.
  • Non-text contrast: the focus ring, the status indicator and interactive borders were checked against the 3:1 threshold. The brand cyan is deliberately not used for text or focus indication, because on white it measures 1.6:1.
  • Keyboard: all interactive elements are reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator, and a skip link leads to the main content.
  • Structure: headings are in order, landmarks are used, tables have header cells and captions, and images that carry meaning have text alternatives.
  • Motion: prefers-reduced-motion disables all animation, including the scrolling ticker.
  • Without JavaScript: all content is present and readable; no content depends on script to become visible.

3. Accessibility features

  • Text resizes to 200 % without loss of content or function.
  • The layout reflows to a single column at 320 CSS pixels with no horizontal scrolling.
  • Colour is never the only means of conveying information — the comparison table uses symbols and text as well.
  • Form fields have persistent, associated labels, not placeholder-only labelling.
  • Language is declared per document, and passages in another language are marked.

4. Known limitations

Honest list rather than an empty one:

  • The product illustrations on the home page and feature pages are decorative and marked aria-hidden. They convey no information that is not also in the surrounding text, but they are not described.
  • The wide comparison table scrolls horizontally on narrow screens. It is keyboard-scrollable and has header cells, but a very wide table remains harder to navigate with a screen reader than a short one.
  • No independent audit. The results above come from our own testing, including automated contrast measurement in a browser. An external audit has not been commissioned.
  • Assistive-technology coverage. Testing has been done with keyboard navigation and browser tooling. Systematic testing with every major screen reader has not been carried out.

5. Reporting a barrier

If something on this site is not usable for you, please tell us — this is the most useful thing anyone can send us about accessibility.

support@ceyu.org. Please describe the page, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology and browser you were using if that is relevant. We aim to reply within five working days and to say what we will do and by when.

6. If we do not respond adequately

Should our response be unsatisfactory, you may contact the relevant enforcement body. In Germany that is the Schlichtungsstelle nach dem Behindertengleichstellungsgesetz, Mauerstraße 53, 10117 Berlin.

7. Scope of this statement

This statement applies to the website at www.ceyu.org. It was last reviewed on 28 July 2026, based on a self-assessment including measured contrast values and keyboard testing. It is reviewed whenever the design system changes materially.
