Ceyu

Acceptable use policy

Last updated: 28 July 2026

This policy forms part of the terms of service. It is short on purpose: the rules that matter are the ones people can remember.

1. Content

Do not use Ceyu to create, store or distribute:

  • material that is unlawful where you are or where we operate
  • content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights
  • material depicting the sexual abuse or exploitation of children
  • content that incites violence, or that harasses or threatens a person
  • malware, exploit kits, or anything designed to compromise a system

Because workspace content is end-to-end encrypted when synced, we cannot scan it. Enforcement therefore relies on reports. If you find Ceyu being used for any of the above, tell us at support@ceyu.org.

2. The service itself

Do not:

  • attempt to access another tenant's data, or probe for a way to
  • circumvent authentication, rate limits, plan limits or licensing
  • overload the service deliberately, or use it in a way that degrades it for others
  • reverse engineer the service except where that right cannot lawfully be excluded
  • resell or white-label Ceyu as your own product without a written agreement
  • use automated means to extract data at a scale the interface was not built for

2.1 Security research

Good-faith security research is welcome and is not a breach of this policy, provided you do not access other people's data, do not degrade the service, and report what you find to security@ceyu.org before publishing. We will not pursue researchers who work that way.

3. Accounts

  • One account per person. Do not share credentials — invite the person instead.
  • Do not create accounts to evade a suspension or a plan limit.
  • Do not impersonate someone else or misrepresent your affiliation.

4. AI features

Do not use the AI features to generate content that would breach section 1, and do not feed them personal data of others without a lawful basis to do so. Output is generated and can be wrong; you remain responsible for what you do with it.

5. How we enforce this

Proportionately, and in this order wherever circumstances allow:

  1. We contact you and describe the problem.
  2. We ask you to stop or to remove specific content, with a deadline.
  3. We restrict the affected feature or account.
  4. We suspend, and in serious cases terminate, the account or organisation.

We skip ahead where there is an immediate risk to the service, to other tenants, or to someone's safety, or where the law requires it. Unlawful content is removed immediately once we become aware of it.

6. Reporting abuse

support@ceyu.org for abuse and content reports, security@ceyu.org for vulnerabilities. Include enough detail to identify what you are reporting — a share link, an account, or the content itself.
