Ceyu is a local-first workspace for creative teams: an infinite whiteboard with project and work management behind it. The fastest way to understand it is to put real material on a board and turn one piece of it into work. This takes about five minutes.
That combination is aimed at small and mid-sized agencies, game studios and in-house design teams — and at the producers, project managers and studio owners who keep that work moving. Below you will fill a board, give it structure, turn part of it into a task, and share the result.

On the free plan you get three boards and three projects, with no card and no expiry. That is enough to finish this page.
Create a board, then get material onto it. There is no import dialog — the canvas accepts things directly:
Video, PDFs and 3D models in GLB and GLTF go on the same way and behave like any other object. Embeds — a YouTube or Figma frame — work too, with the one difference that they need a network connection, because that content lives elsewhere. See Images, video, PDF & 3D.
If the material already sits on a board somewhere else, bring it over instead of rebuilding it: files from Miro, FigJam, Mural and Excalidraw can be imported. See Moving from another tool.

Once the board is organised and the team has to choose between directions, dot voting is the quickest way to narrow the options down without a meeting. See Working together.
Tip
Double-click an object to zoom it to fit; double-click empty background to zoom out to the whole board. It is the fastest navigation in the application and most people find it by accident weeks in.
Select an object and send it to Flowtask. It becomes a task in the project attached to this board, keeping a reference back to the frame it came from. From there it behaves like any other task — assignee, due date, estimate, dependencies, tracked hours, and whatever custom fields the project defines.
This is the step that makes the board more than a mood board: the plan is derived from the material rather than typed out again somewhere else. The same tasks can then be read in five views, including a Gantt chart that shows dependencies and the critical path, and capacity planning that puts committed work next to the hours a team actually has. From Pro upwards a board can be shared as a read-only link. The recipient needs no account and takes no seat, which is the usual way to put something in front of a client.
If you want people editing with you at the same time, invite them to the workspace instead — you will see each other's cursors live. See Working together.
No. Ceyu is local-first: you can install it, make a board and work without signing in. An account is only needed for syncing across devices and for working with other people.
On your own disk, as ordinary files, and they stay there unless you turn on cloud sync. That is what makes a board openable years later and backup-able with the same tools you already use for the rest of your work. When sync is on it is end-to-end encrypted, and the key is generated on your device and never sent to the server. Ceyu is operated from Germany.
