Most whiteboards treat anything that is not an image as an attachment. On a Ceyu board, video, PDFs and 3D models are ordinary objects you can place, scale, annotate and comment on.

The Basic plan is limited to standard image formats. Everything else needs Plus or higher.
Images are streamed at the resolution the current zoom level needs rather than decoded at full size, which is why a board of 4K textures does not exhaust memory the moment you open it. Crop and scale are non-destructive: the original file is untouched.
MP4 and WEBM play in place on the board. Hovering reveals the transport, and the playhead can be dragged for scrubbing.
For animation review the useful part is stepping: the ← and → keys move exactly one frame at a time, which is what you need to look at an arc or the anticipation before a hit. No external player, no round trip.

A-B looping over a section and onion skinning across adjacent frames are planned, not built. If you need them today, keep your dedicated review tool for that step.
Drop a multi-page PDF — an artbook, a brief, a technical manual — and page through it on the canvas. Useful for keeping a client brief physically next to the work that answers it, rather than in a tab nobody opens.
GLB and GLTF models load with their textures and can be orbited in place: drag to rotate, scroll to zoom the model's own camera. It is a viewer for checking silhouette, proportion and how a piece reads from another angle — not a DCC package, and not trying to be one.
The practical value is not having Blender or Maya open purely to look at a reference model while working on something else.
YouTube, Vimeo, Loom and Sketchfab have first-class embeds, plus a generic web embed. An embed is a live object on the board rather than a screenshot of one, so a Loom walkthrough can sit inside the frame it is about.
On the desktop applications a clipboard watcher can add anything you copy straight to the active board, which is worth switching on during a reference hunt and off afterwards.
There is no fixed cap in the app. What limits you is the disk the board lives on and, if you sync, the storage in your plan — a board is a folder of files, not a database row. Very large videos run smoother if you place a proxy and keep the master beside it.
No. The file you place is the file that is stored. Ceyu writes a small preview for the canvas and leaves the original untouched, which is why an exported board can be handed to a client without a second thought.
Yes. Images, video, PDFs and 3D models are local files and play offline. Only embeds — a YouTube or Figma frame — need the network, because that content lives on someone else's server.
